NOTICE: iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 12, and 12 Pro Users
Recent consumer complaints related to Apple’s iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 12, and 12 Pro cameras have become increasingly frequent on Apple's support portal and other tech-related media channels. Users are reporting failures with the new camera systems, found on the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 12, and 12 Pro stemming from vibrations associated with mounting iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 12, and 12 Pro on ATVs, Mountain Bikes, Off-Road vehicles, and Motorcycles.
As a precautionary measure, we specifically encourage users of the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 12, and 12 Pro to avoid mounting these on their bikes.
The Tackform, TF-KIT-38, impressed me out of the box. Top quality fit and finish. I installed it in place of the Harley Zumo navigation unit. Now, I have all the functions of my smart phone held securely in place. It never moved! Best cell holder for 2020.
I wanted a simple, high quality phone holder that was easy to use and fit my bike. This holder fit perfect on my 2014 HD Ultra Classic mounted to a short base attached to the clutch clamp (I did use another brand clutch base since it was a smaller size). For months, I researched other phone holders, read reviews, and this setup worked out excellent. When the phone is in the holder, it's easy to read and access, completely functional and adjustable. This doesn't obstruct my vision, the speakers, or the mirrors (mirrors are mounted on the inside of the fairing like a stock Street Glide). It takes less than a second to securely mount your phone which is phenomenal. I highly recommend this holder for fit, function, and quality. Besides all of this, their customer service is top of the line. They responded quickly to my questions and made sure I had the best setup for my bike. Most important, it's very high quality and looks excellent. The photos are okay. It's tough to take a good image at the right angle to show what it really looks like on the bike.
Well built and holds my phone securely. Glad I purchased it
Not china junk. Holds secure. Should supply an optional 6mm locknut. I replaced the thumb nut with a 6mm locknut to keep it from walking away in public parking lots.
I'm very impressed with how my mount is constructed, even more impressed that it's made in the United States. I'm hoping one day you folks make a motorcycle mount with a USB power connector down the road because I will be first in line.
