AM12-MG1-BK - AMPS Drill Base Magnetic Phone Holder | 4.75" Aluminum arm

Mounting a Phone to your dashboard has never been so easy. 

The AM12-MG1-BK mounting kit comes with all necessary hardware to get your device mounted securely to you dashboard. This kit is broken down into three parts, the mounting base, the arm, and the phone holder. 

The Base - 

- TF-BS–4H-KIT - AMPS Mounting Base with Install Kit - 
This component features a 20mm Aluminum ball securely attached to a robust aluminum AMPS Plate using 3 flat head screws. Unlike rubber ball alternatives that wear out over time, this sturdy metal combination guarantees long-lasting durability. The AMPS hole pattern is 38mm x 30mm from center to center, and the plate's dimensions are 1.7" x 2" x 0.1185". This kit is also paired with a dashboard mounting kit. This kit is essential for dashboard device mounting. Firstly, its oversized backing plate ensures optimal weight distribution, reducing visible vibration on your device. Secondly, installation is streamlined: the mounting plate features press-fit threaded inserts, eliminating the need to wrestle with nuts and wrenches in confined spaces behind the dash. Moreover, should a screw ever come loose, it can be easily tightened without the hassle of accessing the underside of the dashboard.

The Arm -

- TF-AR-34-40 - 4.75” Long Aluminum Tube Double Socket Arm - 
This 4.75-inch long tube arm is part of the 20 Series and is specifically designed to work with metal 20mm balls. A standout feature is its low-profile design, complemented by sockets that articulate independently on each end. This allows for an extensive range of motion, ensuring you can position your device just right. With a metal ball and socket connection, you can secure the position with just a half-turn of a knob. The distance between the centers of the two balls is approximately 4.25”

The Holder -

- TF-HL-28-20 - Magnetic Phone Holder (NOT MAGSAFE COMPATIBLE) -
This magnetic interface is the epitome of ease of use while creating a hold strong enough to handle whatever the roads can throw at you. It’s recommended that you adhere the included metal plate to the back of your device, like shown in the picture, to ensure you're getting the full strength of the rare earth magnets housed in the mounting cradle. The magnetic head has a 17mm socket on the back of it, then it’s paired with a 17-20mm ball that will allow it to seamlessly interface with any of our 20 Series arms.
