I received my Tackform Action Camera Headrest Mount, and installed it today. I am now very grateful I didn't buy a plastic, lesser-quality mount elsewhere. The Tackform mount is extremely well-made and well-designed, with quality components and a robust construction. The four ball joints and camera attachment head work perfectly, and the headrest rail mount is attaches firmly to the headrest rail. I appreciate the extras that came with the mount arm - the thorough instruction sheet, the allen wrench for assembling the headrest attachment clamp screws, and the action camera head mount that attaches to the mount arm. On top of the quality of the product, shipping was extremely swift and free. Tackform is definitely doing things right. For that reason, I have sent photos already to a few friends who expressed an interest in my Tackform mount purchase. I believe you might have a few additional customers very soon.

I was skeptical that any headrest mount only mounting on one post would hold for track days, but this is rock solid. Great adjustability and stays where you put it. Videos are shake/vibration free (some of that is the camera, but you need a good mount as well). I am very happy with my purchase.

If I had one nit / improvement, it might be for a quick release for the mount to the headrest. Undoing four small allen screws in the tight space of my car is a bit tedious. This is really a non-issue if you have a backseat to climb into or you leave it on all the time.

Ordered this mount to record some pretty serious vehicle testing and it stayed rock-solid even when we rolled the car 360 degrees. I would have ordered another if it had failed, but I guess I don’t need to!

I couldn't find info if this worked for other brands than GoPro, so I tried it on my DJI Osmo Action4 cam and was successful. It also mounts to my 2019 Genesis G70 headrest post pretty well. I do wish they put some sort of rubber/neoprene on the clamp so it wouldn't be metal to metal and scratch the post.

I use my mount for a GoPro in my glider.
Its well made and versatile, giving easy adjustements for an unusual setup.

Great little mount that can give you an in-cabin point of view while you drive. Awesome for motorsports with a Horizon Lock enabled GoPro as it allows you to “feel” how the car gets sideways.

Purchased this mount to use during track days. Won't get a chance to use it until next month. I can attest it is very well made. Seems to be very sturdy and should hold up well on the track.

You can immediately tell this is a good quality item - the build quality and touch/feel is good and is providing a sturdy mount from the car headrest. It is also adjustable, in that you can reposition the camera position if required. My usage so far is showing minimal camera vibration and distortion.

If it had a swiss-arca mount, I'd be ultra impressed. Really good, and strongly recommended.

Very solid build quality, built like a tank. Can take cameras heavier than action cameras too. I mounted a Sony ZV1 on it with a Rode Wireless Go II without any issues whatsoever. Highly, highly recommended.

I use the TackForm Go-Pro mounts on a racing kart. I can't imagine a more difficult environment for this type of device. Vibrations, g-loads, dirt, dust, etc. So far, it seems to perform better than any other mount I have used in the past. I have only been to the track one time since I got it but it looks promising.
