I use this product to hold my Dell XPS 12 convertible laptop in tablet mode which I attach to a surveyor’s tripod that is connected to a Total Station laser measuring device. It’s perfect for my application. No table needed and takes up little space!
I’m in a ukulele group and wanted to go back to using my iPad mini for my music but didn’t like balancing the iPad with on a traditional music stand. Search the web and found the Tackform tablet holder for stationary bikes. It fits my Hercules instrument stand PERFECTLY! Now I have a place for a spare uke and my iPad is safe and secure! Thanks Tackform!
I was actually looking for a iPad holder for my Xbox 360 controller. I currently have a clip for my phone but it wasn’t big enough for my 10.5 iPad. I lucked up and came across this holder for my iPad and I have to say it’s the best fit with my iPad, in the case, with the clamp. Love it, it was exactly what I was looking for! My iPad stays in place, the clamp has a tight and secure grip, and I love the extra clips for smaller devices. Thank you for this great clamp.
I've searched for a long time for an affordable, quick, and sturdy clamp for our iPad productions. We found it, and it works in tight spaces as well—a must-have in your production arsenal.
Overall it holds my ipad securely and I will have to see if it loosens after so many days/times peddling and so on. It will tilt if loose, since in the beginning, it did loosen, I had not tightened it enough. There are two things I see that could be an improvement. Since the tabs on the top and bottom slide, make the base bigger so you can slide the tabs more if needed. The second thing, those very tiny “plugs” for the ends of the sliding part, those plugs don’t stop your tabs from pushing them out and then they are gone. You don’t even know they come out, so now there are no end plugs on some corners. You should either have something you can flip down to hold the tabs from coming out of the slider rail or give at least four extra plug thingys in case you learn the hard way like I did, so I can plug the ends again.
