This is a very solid and versatile tablet holder. I thought the ability to clamp it to a desk was kind of a useless feature, but, I've found that I've used that feature already quite a few times when rehearsing in front of a computer. So handy. It obviously works great on a mic stand also. Very sturdy.

I value pro gear / I value high quality. Drumming is my profession and I need an iPad mount that can withstand the rigors of touring and remain reliable night after night. I can't have gear out there that doesn't perform 100%. I did my research and gave Tackform a shot. They delivered, 100%. Thank You to the engineers and crew at this outstanding Chicago company! I'm spreading the word. I stomp on that DW7000 hihat pedal a lot during each show, that stand moves and takes a beating, but even with the 7" arm fully horizontal that iPad is secure, doesn't sag, and stays where I put it. I was searching for a mount I could attach to my tripod for the ATEM mini pro - THIS IS IT. Rock solid - allows easy access to all ports. Doesn’t shake tripod when pressed. Easy to adjust to different angles. I wish that every joint was able to collapse on itself, but aside from that this is the perfect solution.

I am a professional musician, and I use technology very well. I can say that you can use that support for many items, not just for iPad. you can use it for audio interfaces, mixer etc. Tackform for me are the best in the world in quality. look at my picture.

Received it today and at first glance seems to be an excellent product.
Pros: easy to mount, well built, looks sturdy and solid, very versatile. Can be used on mic stand or o a table. Fits iPad Pro 12.9” 4th gen with folio case without problem
Cons: none so far, just two VERY MINOR issues - 1) the small. rubber stoppers fall easily and 2) the cradle upper grove seems to be a notch too wide and does not provide enough friction against the tabs.
I’d definitely recommend it to anybody needing a secure iPad holder.

I used it for a set I performed at a music festival on a mic stand I never used before. It fit perfectly and I could adjust the angle so I could see the screen without looking down at it all the time. I use a thick case on my iPad 9.7 pro and it still fit just fine case and all.

I wanted to attach my Microsoft Surface to my treadmill. I wasn't sure what to get to so I emailed Tackform's customer service along with some pictures of my treadmill. They explained which components to get and even put together a custom package of components (this tablet mount plus the Enduro series "roll cage mount"). Everything arrived quickly and worked great. The mount solidly holds my Surface in place. Customer service even followed up to find out how it went-- they really went above and beyond. I'll be buying more products from this company.

The hinges are well made that iPad stays at the position, but it is still easy to re-adjust without loosen the knobs. The iPad holder arms are deep enough that even iPad in any heavy thick iPad case will hold.

I tried one initially (Tablet Holder / 7" Modular Arm). I was hoping it would be all metal, but it's not, it's a bit of both. However, the plastic parts are really solid & strong so I'll gladly give up the weight of metal if the plastic quality is this good. Once you tighten the joints, it's completely locked in as if it were made up of one solid piece. I'm not sure how long the springs of the tablet holder will last (how long the pressure/grab will exist), that'd be my only concern. I was impressed so I've purchased 3 more (the 10.75", the Mic Stand Holder, and the Mega Clamp 12.25). Another bonus for me was that they are manufactured in Taiwan vs. the PRC.
