GLASS FILLED POLYMER - Tackform's Quick Grip suction cup with 20mm metal ball socket. The 20mm socket attaches to the suction cup base using the industry standard AMPS pattern. 

STEEL THREADED INSERTS - This AMPS pattern has stainless steel threaded inserts to securely mount AMPS Mounting Bases. 

RUGGED DESIGN - This product has been 3rd party reliability tested to ensure a secure hold to withstand vibration, temperature and humidity. Proven effective in flight, on boats, and both on-road and off-road use.

LAND AIR AND SEA - This product has UV inhibitor making it suitable for outdoor use. This sea worthy suction cup can survive both freshwater and saltwater conditions.

SECURE INSTALLATION - It comes equipped with a large 3.5" diameter suction pad with feathered edges for a secure seal making in installation and removal quick and easy.

Excellent

I've been using RAM stuff for years, but RAM didn't a solution for a recent application (suction cup mounting a CarPlay unit to a Wrangler windshield). Tackform customer service was great and found the right piece for my needs, and I mounted it with this Tackform suction cup base and a small arm.
