I own a 2016 H-D Road Glide Ultra. The USB port that is in the right side of the faring could not keep up with the draw of mutiple apps running on My phone. I installed a Battery Tender USB charger inside the wire loom under the gas tank, with the 39in right angle type c cable. It worked great, kept My phone fully charged until the bike sat out in the rain on a trip. From that point it would barely charge. I did not know if the cable or the charger were at fault, so I ordered a new one of each. It turned out that the charger was fine, and it was the cable that had failed. I guess it has to be protected from the rain. It all works great now.

Finally

Was finally able to find a sided phone charging cable for my tablet that actually works! And because I have Tacform for my tablet, I was able to order the smallest extension they had amd its perfectly worth the purchase! Now my tablet looksoke ot belongs instead of sticking out to far from my dash! There tablet holder and phone accessories are top notch! Good quality, not cheap plastic tablet holders you find elsewhere!
