I gave up a custom modded mount that was mounted in my center console cup holder area. It was powered so it grabbed the phone and charged it as well. Bad part was that is would shake bad over bumps and was in a bad spot to follow Google maps. Tried this mount and it's awesome. Solid magnet power, doesn't shake and holds up over some pretty serious bumps. That's the biggest thing I was worried about! It surpassed my expectations! Love this thing. 2019 Superduty vent mount.
