The mounts are fantastic, much more stable than i ever imagined. Installed the Tackform mounts in both 2019 F-150, and 2021 Tundra. Only issue was I use MagSafe with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. The base of the mount is not large enough for MagSafe. Went on Amazon, bought cheap MagSafe mount ($16) with same ball diameter (17mm) as Tackform, and swapped magnets. Just finished first long road/ off road trip, mount performed perfectly. Mount lets a/c vent in Ford still work in all directions, in Toyota the tilt still works, but you lose the swivel function. I would recommend to friends when the larger magnet base is available, and will purchase again for my next truck

Great little sturdy mount option
I gone through many mounts on many vehicles. This mount is great quality and should be the last one I will need for this vehicle. 2017 Tacoma. If I could change one thing it would be have the smaller ball at the base so no extension arm is needed, as it blocks the radio view. i do not like it elevated in the air like some have mounted it. While I could move it to a different vent I prefer this position being right handed just wish it could be closer to the dash, (only reason for four stars) but quality is top notch, and install was as simple as it gets. This will not let you adjust the vent left or right without loosening the mount, but I don't move those so not that big of deal for me. I will be buying a unit for my Motorcycle, and Wife's car.
Hey Bob! We actually have what your looking for, the one small issue is when the phone is sitting over the vent and you have the heat or AC kicking, it can actually over heat or over cool the device causing it to shut down. If you want to give it a go, I've got you covered. But that's why we don't offer it that way. You're the man Bob! Tackform Phone Mount
The Tackform Phone mount was a perfect fit for my 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. I’ve never had a Mount this stable and sturdy. Material quality is also great. I would purchase again from Tackform. Unusually perfect...
I am surprised by how much I like this magnetic vent mount. I initially installed it on the right hand vent but decided to move it to the left hand vent between the steering wheel and the door. This works perfect for me and no it longer blocks my view of the audio screen and buttons. My charging cord is the perfect length and is not in the way of the steering wheel, my legs, or my hands. Time will be the telling factor in terms of staying in place on the vent and the magnet durability, but for now I give a rare 5 stars!
