I am using this as a heavy-duty camera mount for an instrumentation-level scanner. Provides range of motion and flexibility during adjustment but great rigidity when locked down.
Both arms allow rotational and length adjustment. Elbows give solid, stepped indexing. The AMPS plate mounts by a clamped ball to give fine tuning.
The base clamp is solid on an office or workshop table.
